Recognition Roundup

Chelsea Call wanted to recognize her team for their hard work.  Thanks for sharing Chelsea! We love to see a team work well together!

I wanted to give a big shout out to my entire team.  They worked so hard to ensure the store was ready for study group.  They all stepped up and did things without even being asked and offered me so much support and assistance.  It really warmed my heart to see everyone come together as a team even more than normal.  We even had a customer bring in pizzas for the entire team.  He came in and asked why I was here so late since he saw me around seven that morning.  I told him that we were showing off the store, so we were making sure we were in good shape.  He said everyone here works so hard and is always so friendly that it was his way of saying thank you and good job.  The staff, including corporate, and the customers are the reason this job is so enjoyable.  I feel blessed to be a part of the Ricker family, and I am glad that we proved once again that we are best in class!  I couldn’t do it without my amazing team of superstars!!!!

Our 116th Street Team had a medical emergency and the whole team stayed Cool, Calm and Collective! Great Job Deborah, Travis and Brent!!

We had a customer go into a diabetic seizer in front of the POS.  Luckily, we had another customer here who had experience in recognizing and responding to seizers.  Travis and the customer helped keep the man upright and cool.  Before anyone could say “Call 911” our CSR Deborah Shaw, was already on the phone with the emergency operator giving our location.  She stayed on line with them until the ambulance arrived.  She stayed calm and focused through the entire ordeal.  Since everything was happening directly in front of her register she decided to stay busy wiping counters and stocking cups.  I ran the register and helped the customers coming in. Travis moved everything out of the way for the EMT’s.  We all did our part and responded with calm precision.

Travis and I spoke after the EMT’s and customers were out of the store and we both agree that Deborah deserves a WOW pin for her quick response and cool head.  She definitely showed the type of customer service that Ricker’s stands for, even in extreme conditions.
