A Farewell, An Announcement, and Recognition

A Farewell from Keeli LeVart

As most of you know, Friday will be my last day with Rickers. Goodbye is always hard. But this one does come with some good. So first the good! My husband and I have the opportunity to move back to my hometown in Illinois where my parents and older brothers still live. This will also put us very close to his family as well. I have been offered a position as the Assistant Director of the Rend Lake College Foundation and have happily accepted. It combines two of my favorite things- Event Planning and Accounting! It’s an opportunity that we could not pass up.

It has been my pleasure to spend the last two years with such an amazing group of people. I have never worked for a company that spends so much time building each other up. It sets this company apart from every competitor. No matter how far away I go, Ricker’s will always be my favorite C-store! I will miss each of you.

From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for the last two years. I’ll leave you with something I learned during my MBA trip to Europe.  Instead of saying Goodbye, they say - I wish you success in all your future endeavors. That is my  hope for you. Success in whatever you set out to accomplish!

Now I just have to figure out how to get Ricker Pop and square donuts in Illinois (especially those bacon ones!) J

Now a shout out to the East 38th Street Store from Customer Betsy Taylor-

I am a State Fair FREAK!  I stop into the Ricker's at Fall Creek and 38th Street to get a bottle of water oftentimes when I'm either going to the Fair or leaving it.  I also attend events year round at the fairgrounds.  Your employees at this particular location are ALWAYS polite and either thank me or wish me a good day!  They are a joy to deal with!  Speedway higher-ups/employees need to take a lesson from you guys!

Way to WOW our customers East 38th! You are all Superstars!
