You WOWed Me!
The customer service displayed from these superstars will make your jaw drop!
WOW. We have a wonderful team. Please remember the WOW program is a spontaneous recognition program in which employees are recognized for amazing examples of WOW-worthy service! If YOU receive a WOW pin and card, it serves as an invitation to the Ricker's WOW event at the Indy Motor Speedway in 2015, where you can watch practice, tour the garages, and celebrate your awesomeness! Read about the superstars that have received WOWs so far in the email below!
Ashley Mitchel at 151st Street (#44) is someone that always WOW's us. When she's not providing the best customer service around, she is constantly moving, staying busy with cleaning projects and activity board tasks. She is an amazing individual to watch and the store is truly reaping the benefits of her work! Ashley is one of the reasons that the store is so successful. Congratulations Ashley!

Charles "Matt" Adam at I-69 (#7) recently answered a customers questions about our vapor products that the customer bought the entire kit! Great job knowing our products and providing a WOW experience!

Danielle Teepe from Lapel (#5) recently during an audit, DM Randall Brock noticed Danielle, who is the hot stuff manager, keep her food stocked, assist on register, assist with customers needs, and help put up the EBY delivery. While doing all of this Danielle didn't complain once. She definitely leads by example when it comes to customer service and being superstar.

Jacob Cress at Scatterfield (#25)- There were two customers at the counter thanking the team for their Mother's sympathy card. Their mother had recently passed away and the Scatterfield team signed and gave them a card. When Jacob was asked about this by DM Tracy Fowler he said the the Scatterfield Team is doing what they are calling a "welcome home" where they give their customers sympathy cards, birthday cards, etc. Jacob you not only WOW'd us but WOW'd our customers and made a difference to these two people that were hurting! Keep up the WOW-worthy work!
Dawn Walsh at Brownsburg (#35) saved a customer's life by preforming CPR. Dawn you WOW'd us with you ability to jump right in and diffuse a situation that could have ended much worse. You are the definition of SUPERSTAR!

Anna Ezelle from Fort Benjamin (#34) has received five 100% mystery shops over the last year! She provides consistent WOW experiences!

Candy Crabtree from Greenwood (#33) she gave a customer some of her own money to finish a purchase. The customer later returned the money and Candy turned around and gave the money to another customer. Way to put your customers first!

Angie Gregory at Park One Subway (#120) from Tracy Fowler- "Angie goes above and beyond! She has been helping another site and making sure they excel as well on her own time! WOW! One day at lunch I sat down to enjoy a sandwich in the Park One Subway. The lunch crowd began to come in and Angie started talking it up to the customers. Then Roxanne came in and started talking to the customers. It's like they have known them for years. The two of them are chatting with the customers and getting the lunches out quickly. It was amazing! All the while, the line was all the way to the door. But every customer was spoken to and there were many happy faces. It was truly a WOW event and it was awesome! I am very proud!" We are too! Great job Angie!
Daniel Wilburn at Post Road (#30) heard a Customer state he windshield wipers had fallen off during a thunderstorm. He volunteered to go out in the torrential downpour and fix the windshield wiper. Daniel you definitely provided WOW worthy customer service!

Cody Stone from the Corporate Office recently helped a customer push her car into the lot at East 38th Street after her car had stalled. She kept thanking him and Cody said that he was an employee of Rickers, but Cody would have done this anyway. That is WOW customer service!

Amber Wielinski from Clover Road (#77) helped jump start a customers car with her jumper cables! Thank you Amber for going above and beyond to help our our customers in need. You WOWed them and us!

Roxanna Garvin, Park One (#26) From Tracy Fowler: "Roxanne and I were working on the candy shelf and a little girl came up and poked Roxanne as if to scare her. The little girl proceeded to tell Roxanne that it was her 6th birthday and about the party that was planned for the evening. Roxanne bought the little girl her favorite Bug Juice and Treat for her Birthday. I found out later that the little girl had been coming into our store since she was in diapers. The little girl gets really excited now to come in to see Roxanne because it is usually only during breaks from school." Way to keep the customers coming back for more and making customers for life! You definitely WOW'd us!

  1. This Friday a Mooresville employee came in on his day off and purchased his 3 fountain drinks. He was walking out to the car and droped them in the parking lot. Brittany saw him, remade his drinks and took them to him. He was having a very bad day. Our employees are our customers too. Nice job Brittany.WOW!!!!!!
