December Safety Challenge Winner
….and the winner of a pizza party
is…..Greenwood, with a fabulous entry. I didn’t know we had so many
creative team members!
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all
through the Ricker’s,
‘Wet Floor’ signs were stood where the ice
melts and shimmers. The rewards cards were hung by the registers with care,
in hopes that new customers soon would be there.
The employees were bundled in bright caution vests,
and out sprinkling salt for the welfare of guests.
The floor mats were spread, all entrances
swept,
The store was impeccable, and very well kept. Then out by the door there arose such a clatter
Mindy sprang from the back to see what was the matter.
Rita stood at the entrance with snow in her hair
and cried out, “There’s a snowstorm! We have to prepare!”
Faster than reindeer the employees all came,
Miranda, then Candy, as Rita called out their
name –
“Now Angie, now Alice, now Kasey and Dawn,”
“Help Vicki and Ashley clean up and work onremoving debris; then grab the floor fans.
Fill the de-icer for trucks and sedans.”
The employees all laughed and Jeff shook his
head
With a wink and a smile he cheerily said,“Everything has been ready for hours and more.
We even put cardboard beneath the mats on the floor.
No one will slip up, or trip up, or fall,
We’ve made sure the store is safe for us all.”
So, convinced that the store and employees
were alright,
Rita waved and called out as she drove out of
sight – “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
