Weekly Recognition Roundup- July 29, 2014

It's time for a new weekly recognition roundup!
Enjoy!

Our first shout out of the week is to Melissa Macy a CSR from Exit 14 from her Store Manager- Chelsea.

I wanted to give a shout out to Melissa Macy.  She used to work for a competitor, and we are happy to have her as a part of our family now.  There are many reasons for this.  Melissa is a hard worker, and I never have to worry about her doing a great job.  Melissa also has great customer service, and has even brought some of her old regulars to our store.  They light up when they see her.  She is a great asset, and I would like to develop Melissa and see her move up within the company.  She is my cooler queen and an all-around superstar.  Keep working hard, Melissa!  Your work does not go unnoticed, and you are very valued and appreciated!  Also, congrats again on getting employee of the month!!!

Out next shout out also comes from Manager Chelsea. It is to CSR Nina Kristsis. Chelsea says:

She is happy happy happy all of the time!!  This helps her deliver outstanding customer service and improves the store’s environment.  Everyone loves working with Nina, and the customers leave with a smile on their faces.  Nina is also always willing to help wherever needed.  She filled in at Exit 10 when they needed help, and will also pick up shifts here.  She accepts challenges with a smile, and helps out with an enthusiastic attitude.  Keep on rocking, Nina!  Your smile makes everyone else smile, and that is just one reason why you are an amazing part of our team!

Manager Chelsea is just dominating the shout outs today! This one is from Chelsea to the Director of Operations, Jason Klemme.

“I want to send a shout out to our fabulous director of operations, Jason Klemme!  We all know how busy Jason is, but he took time out of his busy day to throw a pizza party for our team to show his appreciation for selling all of our fireworks before July 4th.  Instead of just putting the pizza on his card, Jason came out and attended our meeting/pizza party.  It made the team feel important and recognized.  That’s not all either!  Jason ran register for a good part of it, so we could all be together for the meeting.  He led by example by hopping on when there was a line.  Jason listened to the team share their WOW stories (something we do each meeting) and even shared a WOW story of his own.  He participated and answered questions.  Thank you, Jason for going above and beyond to show our team that we are valued and appreciated!  Our bellies are full and our hearts are warm!  You are the bee’s knees, Jason!

Way to WOW our employees Jason! To quote you- “Everything is Awesome! Everything is cool when your part of a team.”

Now we have a shout out from Nate to the Broadway crew.

I wanted to send a shout out to the Broadway store #2. I had a great time this week. Thank you Candice, Whitney, Dawn, Lee and Terri for all your help. You guys were great. Jennifer thank you for opportunity to be at your store. Any time you need help just let me know.

Finally, we would like to send out a big congratulation to Lindsey Stanley and Ursula “Renee” Naylor for completing the MPR Program! We are proud of you!

Good morning Ricker Family! It’s time for your 11:00 Action News Blogcast Report!

We’ve had a lot of SUPERstar sightings the last few weeks. It’s time to round them all up and see what these SUPERstars are up to! Let’s go to our on the scene reporter Keeli LeVart to get the story about these amazing SUPERstars!

Our first SUPERstar sighting was made by Frankton Manager Cloe and Associate Manger Joan! It’s CSR Joyce Goodman!

Joyce Goodman has been being an awesome team player these last few weeks.  She always comes to work whenever she is needed and she always gives 110% no matter what.  We always know we can count on Joyce to do whatever she can for us and for the store and for that we just wanted to say thanks!  AWESOME JOB JOYCE, keep it up!

Definitely some WOW-worthy super powers from Joyce!

____________________

The next SUPERstar sighting was made by Tracy Fowler the Anderson East District Manager. She has a big thank you and “awesome Job” to our King and Queen of LP, Nate Tomlin and Jennifer Shook! Thank you both so much! Maybe they should be our Superman and Wonder Woman for the WOW-worthy work they do!

Next we have a major SUPERstar sighting made by Teresa Brengman and the whole Middletown and Subway Crew!

Middletown/Subway would like to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Angie and her crew at the Park One Subway. They are always willing to give us a hand no matter what the situation. Whether it is training, helping with a shift, or  helping us make bread in short notice when oven/proofer went down. They even help deliver it! YOU AND YOUR TEAM ROCK!!!!

Thanks Again to the SUPER crew at Park One Subway!

This just in! Cloe and Joan spotted another SUPERstar at Frankton! This time it is Cody Stone of the Marketing Department!

I just wanted to recognize Cody Stone for being absolutely wonderful!  We had all of our shelves torn down and replaced with new shelves and had several new POGs added that were not in our set.  Luckily the truck delivery came the very next day but this resulted in one of the biggest truck deliveries we have ever had!  Cody made it a point to come back to our store when we got our truck and helped us put the entire thing away and helped us get everything organized and ready to go.  Cody you are so awesome and we really appreciate how hard you worked to help us out!!!!

You really are a SUPERstar Cody! Thanks for the WOW-worthy service you provide!

That’s all the sightings we have so far. I’ll keep you updated as we get more! Back to you in the Action News Blogcast newsroom!

A Note of Sympathy

At Ricker's we use this blog to share ways that we help each other out, to sing the praises of those unsung heroes that go above and beyond the job, and to share community news. However, we also can use this tool to lift each other up when life gets a little rough (and we all know it does).

Two of our employees recently lost loved ones and we would like to take a moment to offer our condolences to these two members of the Ricker Oil Company Family.

To David Scott on the passing of his mother and to Margaret Francis on the passing of her father:

On behalf of Ricker Oil Company Family. our deepest sympathies and thoughts go to you and your families during your time of loss.

We hope you will find this uplifting.

Memories in The Heart

Unknown

Feel no guilt in laughter, they know how much you care
Feel no sorrow in a smile that they are not here to share
You cannot grieve forever, they would not want you to
They'd hope that you can carry on, the way you always do
So talk about the good times and the ways you showed you cared
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared
Let memories surround you. A word someone may say,
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, or a day,
That brings them back as clearly as though they were still here
And fills you with the feelings that they are always near
For if you keep these moments, you will never be apart
And they will live forever locked safe within your heart
